We are delighted to welcome Rachel Gannon who joins the Beacon team as an Associate Case Manager.
Rachel has a specialist interest in brain injury management. She has worked with a variety of clients from minimal aware states through to high functioning individuals, including supporting them to develop a meaningful and purposeful life. She has extensive skills in neurorehabilitation, the management of challenging behaviour, ensuring that risk management and the safeguarding needs of the individuals are central to her practice. Rachel consistently works within the principles of the Mental Capacity Act.
Rachel uses her knowledge base to undertake comprehensive assessments, to develop effective rehabilitation and support packages which are tailored to the individuals needs and goals. Managing multi-disciplinary and support teams is central to what so does, to ensure collaborative working to meet the client’s needs, no matter how challenging.
